Hello reader!
Taylor from tB Project and tB Audio here.
Thank you for visiting my site to read this post, firstly. This is my first entry in what I’m hoping to be a consistent newsletter series that I’ll be periodically sharing with you, the amazing viewer/reader/listener. Some of you may be new readers, and others may be fans of mine already. Either way, I appreciate your time and thank you for signing up for this newsletter. It’s a work in progress, to be sure, but it means a lot that you’re here. Before I delve too deep into it, I feel like I should at least introduce myself a little bit for anyone not familiar with who I am and what I do.
My name is Taylor Batory. I’m an independent musician and music producer originally from Michigan, USA, but I now reside in Ontario, Canada. I studied music and production at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I primarily play guitar, but I also play bass and drums. My main solo project is called tB Project and I write and produce my own original albums, mostly in the progressive metal/ rock genre. I operate a studio brand too called tB Audio, wherein I’ve produced client albums and music for various other projects. I’m also in an online band called Biledriver which has members across the globe, spanning North America and Europe. I’m a gamer nerd, a Mountain Dew enthusiast, and I love a good Italian sub sandwich. I’m sure through these newsletters, more details about myself will come through, but that covers the basics for now.
Anyways, what I’m hoping to accomplish with this newsletter is to provide some insight and share some interesting facts and behind-the-scenes type content for all the stuff I work on in my various projects and whatnot. From music, to video editing, to maybe even some more casual, slice-of-life, type things. I’m also open to suggestions for topics to cover in these, so feel free to share your thoughts if there’s anything specifically you want me to discuss. I promise I won’t be spamming you with these posts all the time, as I’m planning on sending one of these out maybe every 2-3 months with just some updates until my next tB Project album is ready to be announced. Some of the topics I’d like to cover in here might be a bit niche, like music theory or production tricks and that sort of thing, but like I said, I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on what topics you’d like covered in these newsletters.
Well, for now, I think this will suffice for an inaugural newsletter. I, again, thank you for your time and thank you for reading. I’m hard at work writing new tunes for both tB Project and Biledriver, so stay tuned and more updates will be coming soon. Feel free to check the links below to other content of mine, if you’re interested. Thanks again for all the support, see you in your inbox again in awhile.
